Client Service Manager, Stock Plan Services
Overview
You will own daily client interactions for Schwab's largest corporate equity compensation clients, ensuring flawless execution of complex stock plans. You'll manage a portfolio of high-value accounts, partnering across relationship management, trading, and product teams. With Excel proficiency and deep knowledge of ASC718/IFRS2, you'll resolve issues, drive engagement, and support growth. This role offers hybrid work in Dallas, Westlake, or Austin, with 4 days on-site per week and 10-25% travel.
What You'll Do10
- 1Serve as primary daily point of contact for assigned clients, answering questions on complex equity compensation provisions and financial reporting.
- 2Drive participant engagement by reviewing client financial health and identifying retail solution opportunities.
- 3Plan and execute client events like grants, exercises, restricted stock releases, and ESPP to ensure zero-error delivery.
- 4Design tailored solutions for unique administrative needs while mitigating risk to Schwab.
- 5Coordinate cross-functional teams for client projects, including mergers, acquisitions, and new plan rollouts.
- 6Resolve client issues accurately and on time, using Excel to track and analyze data.
- 7Build long-term client relationships through weekly check-in calls and on-site service reviews.
- 8Stay current on industry trends via NASPP and GEO participation, maintaining CEP education.
- 9Implement controls for high-value transactions, including executive-level stock movements.
- 10Provide Schwab system training and demos, supporting sales in RFP responses and webcasts.
Requirements9
- 15+ years in client service or account management, ideally in equity compensation or financial services.
- 2Advanced Excel and MS Office skills for data analysis and reporting.
- 3Proven knowledge of stock options, ESPP, restricted stock, and ASC718/IFRS2 accounting.
- 4Excellent communication and presentation skills to influence and build consensus.
- 5Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- 6Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and work collaboratively.
- 7CEP Certification Level 1 or higher preferred.
- 8Experience with equity compensation administration systems and project management.
- 9Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field preferred.
