Stock Associate, Retail Operations & Inventory Management
Overview
You will own the back-of-house flow at a J.Crew store in New York, processing inbound and outbound shipments and keeping the stock room organized. You'll support the sales team by getting product to the floor quickly and packaging customer orders. What You'll Do7
- 1Process inbound and outbound shipments, verifying counts and logging them into the J.Crew inventory system.
- 2Maintain a clean, organized stock room by following merchandise handling guidelines and rotating stock.
- 3Replenish sales floor products to meet presentation standards, ensuring sizes and styles are fully stocked.
- 4Package customer orders promptly for pickup or shipment, using shipment tracking tools.
- 5Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits to keep stock accuracy above 98%.
- 6Collaborate with the store team to exceed service expectations during peak hours and events.
- 7Support visual merchandising by moving fixtures and product displays as directed.
Requirements8
- 118+ years old, with authorization to work in the US.
- 21+ year of stock or retail operations experience, ideally in apparel.
- 3Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- 4Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- 5Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- 6Comfort using handheld scanners and inventory management software.
- 7A passion for fashion and staying current with trends.
