Work on the Second Shift team within the CoC Stator manufacturing unit, using precision measuring equipment and industrial tools to verify quality. Operating fork trucks and overhead cranes is a daily part of the role, moving heavy materials safely. This position demands strict adherence to safety protocols and documentation, with a focus on hands-on mechanical assembly.

What You'll Do8

  • 1Assemble generator components including rotor to core, bearings, and pedestals per specifications, using precision measuring equipment to verify quality.
  • 2Master all operational steps, tools, and equipment in the stator final assembly process within the first 90 days.
  • 3Select and use shop tools such as grinders, sanders, drills, ratchets, and wrenches for assembly tasks.
  • 4Operate fork trucks and overhead cranes to move and position heavy materials and generator components safely.
  • 5Perform routine checks and maintenance on tools and equipment to keep them in working condition.
  • 6Follow all workplace safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques for materials up to 50 lbs.
  • 7Complete simple forms and production records accurately, applying basic math skills.
  • 8Participate in required safety training and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Requirements8

  • 14+ years of industrial-mechanical experience preferred.
  • 2High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3Proficiency with hand and power tools for mechanical assembly.
  • 4Ability to use precision measuring equipment.
  • 5Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy materials; forklift and crane licenses obtainable.
  • 6Must pass hearing and vision tests.
  • 7Ability to read, write, and apply basic math.
  • 8Knowledge of manufacturing safety procedures and material handling.
