Assembler/Fabricator, Industrial Equipment & Metal Fabrication
Overview
You will assemble industrial equipment and subassemblies, fabricate metal structures, and interpret blueprints to ensure high-quality finished products. You will work with pumps, machinery, and mechanical subassemblies in a hands-on manufacturing role. What You'll Do8
- 1Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and engineering drawings to guide assembly and fabrication.
- 2Assemble pumps, machinery, and mechanical subassemblies using hand tools and power tools.
- 3Fabricate metal components by cutting, welding, drilling, grinding, and fitting materials.
- 4Align gears, couplings, and assemblies to precise tolerances.
- 5Troubleshoot mechanical assemblies and perform product testing to ensure functionality.
- 6Safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts to move materials and equipment.
- 7Assist with in-house service, equipment maintenance, trade show preparation, and special projects.
- 8Maintain quality standards and follow OSHA and company safety procedures.
Requirements7
- 1High School Diploma or GED required.
- 23-5 years of assembly, fabrication, manufacturing, or related experience preferred.
- 3Ability to read technical drawings and follow written instructions.
- 4Experience with machine tools, hand tools, and mechanical assembly.
- 5Forklift experience is a plus.
- 6Basic computer skills required.
- 7Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Salary Insight
$50 - $52k per year
