Overview
AI powered defense and critical infrastructure systems require rapid prototyping and reliable deployment. Lead the design, integration, and shipment of AI/ML capabilities across CHAOS product lines at scale. Collaborate with researchers, engineers, and customers in a high-trust, high-impact environment where independence drives real results. Bring a track record of delivering practical AI solutions in regulated or mission-driven settings and mentor junior engineers on the team.
What You'll Do5
- 1Build end-to-end AI/ML capabilities and ship field-ready software within weeks, not months.
- 2Design robust, interpretable, and testable models for real-world, adversarial, edge-deployed environments.
- 3Lead cross-functional efforts with researchers, engineers, and customers to translate requirements into deployable prototypes.
- 4Prototype and roll out AI solutions with low oversight in near real-time defense applications.
- 5Mentor and guide junior engineers to foster a culture of accountability and impact.
Requirements5
- 18 - 15+ years of hands-on experience in Data Science and data engineering
- 2Experience leading small teams of junior engineers or mentoring them
- 3BS or MS or PhD in Computer Science or Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
- 4Experience building model pipelines for building and inference in production
- 5Strong communication skills and ability to present to stakeholders and customers
Salary Insight
$200 - $270k per year
