Staff Pharmacist Part Time Minneapolis
Overview
We seek a part-time staff pharmacist who will share coverage with our pharmacy team at Spring Park Pharmacy. This hands-on dispensing and patient-care role offers direct collaboration with technicians and the PIC. You will review and dispense prescriptions while ensuring accuracy and efficiency. You will also perform drug utilization reviews and counsel patients on medications. This position provides a collaborative environment where clinical judgment matters.
What You'll Do9
- 1Review verify and dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- 2Conduct drug utilization review checking for interactions contraindications allergies and dosing appropriateness
- 3Counsel patients on medications over the counter products and self-care
- 4Resolve third-party billing issues prior authorizations and rejected claims
- 5Contact prescribers to clarify orders and recommend therapeutic alternatives
- 6Administer immunizations and provide point-of-care services
- 7Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and support staff
- 8Maintain compliance with Minnesota Board of Pharmacy regulations DEA requirements HIPAA and PMP reporting
- 9Oversee inventory ordering and controlled substance recordkeeping during shifts
Requirements5
- 1PharmD or BS in Pharmacy from an ACPE accredited program
- 2Active Minnesota pharmacist license in good standing
- 3Current immunization certification and CPR/BLS certification
- 4Strong communication skills and comfort with direct patient interaction
- 5Professional judgment and attention to detail
Salary Insight
$62 - $66k per year
