As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you'll own your schedule and pick per diem shifts from a network of healthcare facilities across Minneapolis. What You'll Do7
- 1Chart and record the administration of medication and treatment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with facility protocols.
- 2Observe patients and document any changes in condition, reporting critical findings to the supervising RN or physician.
- 3Perform specific procedures, including reading and recording vital signs, measuring weight and height, and running diagnostic tests.
- 4Comfort and reassure apprehensive patients to ease anxiety and promote cooperation during treatment.
- 5Bid on and accept per diem shifts through the ShiftKey app, tailoring your schedule to your availability.
- 6Collaborate with facility nursing teams to deliver consistent care across varied healthcare settings.
- 7Adapt quickly to new environments, learning facility procedures and building rapport with staff and patients.
Requirements7
- 1High school diploma or GED.
- 2Valid LPN license in the state of Minnesota.
- 31+ year of clinical experience as an LPN (preferred).
- 4Current CPR certification (preferred).
- 5Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- 6Comfort using mobile apps for scheduling and communication.
- 7Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends and evenings.
