Overview

You will own legal counsel for the parts and supplies business unit at Lennox International, a market leader in HVAC and refrigeration. You'll provide legal advice across commercial contracts, environmental matters, and labor and employment issues. This role sits within a collaborative legal team of 5+ attorneys and reports directly to the General Counsel. You will work alongside cross-functional partners in supply chain, sales, and operations. This position offers the opportunity to shape contract strategy and mitigate risk in a Dallas-based corporate environment.

What You'll Do8

  • 1Provide legal advice to the parts and supplies business unit, including guidance on environmental regulations and small labor and employment matters.
  • 2Draft and review distribution agreements, supply agreements, and master services agreements to protect company interests.
  • 3Negotiate contract terms with customers, vendors, and other parties to achieve favorable outcomes.
  • 4Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state laws across business operations.
  • 5Identify and mitigate legal risks within contractual agreements proactively.
  • 6Resolve contract-related disputes and issues through negotiation and legal analysis.
  • 7Conduct legal research on contract law and regulatory changes to support decision-making.
  • 8Build strong relationships with business leaders to facilitate smooth contract execution.

Requirements6

  • 1Juris Doctor (JD) from a recognized institution and active bar membership.
  • 25+ years of experience in corporate law, commercial contracts, or related fields.
  • 3Proven track record drafting and negotiating distribution agreements and supply agreements.
  • 4Experience in labor and employment law is a plus.
  • 5Ability to manage multiple complex projects under tight deadlines.
  • 6Strong written and verbal communication skills for executive-level interaction.
