What You'll Do11
- 1Create journal entries to record transactions
- 2Reconcile all bank and investment accounts
- 3Prepare financial statements accurately and within required timeframes
- 4Monitor and facilitate timely processing of Trust expenses
- 5Calculate premium and reconcile benefit payments timely
- 6Calculate and remit federal and state tax withholdings
- 7Prepare monthly and annual financial statements timely and accurately
- 8Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve financial discrepancies
- 9Implement process improvements to streamline accounting workflows
- 10Train new hires on financial systems and procedures
- 11Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies
Requirements10
- 15+ years of operational accounting experience
- 2Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks
- 3Knowledge of accounting principles and benefits administration
- 4Degree in Accounting or related field
- 5Analytical mindset with ability to quickly solve complex problems
- 6Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- 7Experience with trust fund management
- 8Understanding of federal and state tax regulations
- 9Ability to work independently and as part of a team
