Own day to day accounts payable and general ledger duties at a fixed-site role in Sacramento. Own month-end close support and journal entries, with reconciliation tasks and analytics. What You'll Do7
- 1Build and process daily accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate payments
- 2Design and post journal entries and perform balance sheet reconciliations
- 3Lead monthly close activities and assist with period-end reporting
- 4Support bank reconciliations and intercompany activity as needed
- 5Drive continuous improvements in processes and controls within AP and GL
- 6Ship accurate data and schedules for audits and internal reviews
- 7Own documentation of procedures and support ad-hoc accounting projects
Requirements9
- 12+ years of experience as a Staff Accountant with a focus on accounts payable
- 2Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- 3Solid knowledge of GAAP principles including reconciliations and journal entries
- 4Attention to detail strong problem solving and analytical skills
- 5Excellent written and verbal communication and teamwork
- 6Proficient Excel and experience with an ERP system is a plus
- 7Ability to work onsite in Sacramento
- 8Temporary role with potential for extension
- 9Experience with general ledger and month-end close processes
