What You'll Do15
- 1Perform accounting activities related to fixed assets CIP depreciation inventory management
- 2Maintain and reconcile fixed asset and inventory ledger accounts
- 3Review asset additions transfers and capitalization of completed projects
- 4Prepare and record depreciation and recurring journal entries
- 5Support inventory accounting including reconciliations costing and analysis
- 6Prepare journal entries account reconciliations and schedules for month end close
- 7Research and resolve account discrepancies promptly
- 8Perform variance and account analysis explaining significant activity
- 9Assist with general accounting duties and special projects
- 10Provide documentation for internal and external audits
- 11Partner with operations finance purchasing and other departments
- 12Identify and implement process improvements for accounting controls
- 13Ensure compliance with GAAP internal controls
- 14Manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- 15Communicate effectively in writing and verbally
Requirements11
- 1Bachelor degree in Accounting Finance or related field
- 23-5 years relevant accounting experience
- 3Knowledge of fixed asset accounting
- 4Experience with construction in progress capitalization
- 5Expertise in depreciation inventory costing
- 6Familiarity with month end close procedures
- 7Strong analytical problem solving abilities
- 8US citizenship required
- 9Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- 10Experience with ERP systems
- 11Understanding of GAAP principles
Salary Insight
$95 - $132k per year
