Sr. Regional Operations Manager - Openlane
Overview
Openlane seeks a Sr. Regional Operations Manager to lead inspection processes and drive operational excellence across the Southern California region. This role focuses on team leadership, data-driven decision making, and aligning inspection activities with business objectives.
What You'll Do11
- 1Lead and coach a team of Regional Operations Managers while being accountable for objectives and key results defined by senior leadership
- 2Ensure compliance with audit policies and procedures across all vehicle and facility inspections
- 3Drive sales growth by building strong relationships with dealers and the Openlane sales team
- 4Assist in hiring inspectors both contractors and full-time staff within assigned regions
- 5Collaborate with Marketplace and Commercial Sales teams on inspection needs forecasting and scheduling
- 6Work closely with scheduling teams to optimize resource allocation and complete assignments on time
- 7Train inspectors on application functionalities and operational processes
- 8Complete Voice of Customer and employee Net Promoter Score calls as needed
- 9Utilize data analytics to identify trends, improve quality, and increase consistency across inspections
- 10Serve as a point of contact for contractor and inspector inquiries regarding compensation and processes
- 11Participate in creating and reviewing training programs for new hires
Requirements6
- 1Minimum 5+ years of proven leadership experience in operations management
- 2Minimum 2+ years of automotive mechanical experience
- 3Valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle
- 4Working knowledge of technology including electronic reporting systems
- 5Experience with Google Suite products and communication tools such as Slack
- 6Must be available to travel as required
