Sr. Performance Tester (NeoLoad & LoadRunner)
Overview
You will lead performance testing, performance engineering, and scalability analysis for a health insurance customer experience platform. Working onsite in Reston, VA (1x per month), you will drive load and stress tests with Tricentis NeoLoad and LoadRunner, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability. This role demands deep expertise in both tools and the ability to own the performance strategy end-to-end.
What You'll Do7
- 1Lead performance testing initiatives for the health insurance customer experience platform using Tricentis NeoLoad and LoadRunner.
- 2Design and execute load, stress, and scalability tests to validate system performance under peak conditions.
- 3Analyze test results, identify bottlenecks, and recommend performance improvements for the application stack.
- 4Develop and maintain performance test scripts, scenarios, and data to ensure comprehensive coverage.
- 5Collaborate with developers and architects to integrate performance testing into the CI/CD pipeline.
- 6Document performance test plans, strategies, and reports for stakeholders.
- 7Mentor junior testers on NeoLoad and LoadRunner best practices.
Requirements7
- 15+ years of experience in performance testing and engineering.
- 2Expert-level proficiency with Tricentis NeoLoad and LoadRunner.
- 3Experience testing health insurance or customer experience applications.
- 4Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies (load, stress, soak, spike).
- 5Ability to analyze and interpret performance metrics and logs.
- 6Hands-on experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, AppDynamics).
- 7Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
