Overview

We seek an experienced Sr. HR Manager to lead daily people operations and shape long-term HR strategy in Miami. This contract-to-permanent role builds and formalizes core HR practices for a small evolving workforce. The position is fully onsite offering opportunities to establish foundational HR structures.

What You'll Do15

  • 1Lead day-to-day human resources activities across employee relations policy administration onboarding offboarding and general HR operations
  • 2Partner with leadership to establish and strengthen HR programs processes and organizational structure as the function grows
  • 3Oversee recruiting and new employee integration ensuring a smooth compliant hiring experience
  • 4Manage employee matters with sound judgment including performance concerns separations and workplace policy interpretation
  • 5Support payroll and benefits coordination while maintaining accurate employee records and HR system data
  • 6Review and update the employee handbook internal policies and procedural documentation to align with business needs and employment regulations
  • 7Advise the organization on compliance considerations for remote employees or multi-state engagements
  • 8Operate as primary HR point of contact for a small team while laying groundwork for future expansion
  • 9Demonstrate experience in broad-based human resources roles across multiple disciplines
  • 10Show strong background in employee relations HR administration onboarding and policy management
  • 11Work knowledge of benefits coordination payroll processes and HRIS platforms
  • 12Balance strategic planning with direct execution in an independent contributor role
  • 13Familiarity with employment compliance requirements including multi-state remote employee considerations
  • 14Strong communication and interpersonal skills to advise leadership and support employees effectively
  • 15Proven ability to create structure improve processes and build scalable HR practices within a growing organization
