HR Generalist, Recruiter in Legal | Full-Cycle Hiring & Compliance
Overview
Own full-cycle recruitment for legal and administrative roles at a growing law firm, partnering with leadership to build a positive workplace culture. You’ll manage onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and employee relations onsite in Coral Gables. This role combines recruiting, HR operations, and policy administration to support growth and talent retention. Expect a collaborative, professional environment with autonomy to manage multiple priorities.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and manage end-to-end recruiting for legal and administrative roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, conflict checks, and offer coordination
- 2Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and streamline the hiring process
- 3Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new hires to ensure a smooth transition into the firm
- 4Maintain employee records and HR systems ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality
- 5Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and assist with HR policies
- 6Serve as a resource for employee questions and HR-related matters while fostering a positive workplace culture
- 7Assist with benefits administration including enrollments and changes and support payroll-related activities
- 8Support payroll processes related to timekeeping and attendance tracking
- 9Maintain professionalism in all HR activities with discretion and integrity
- 10Collaborate with leadership to continuously improve HR processes and department efficiency
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- 2Minimum 3+ years of progressive HR experience including full-cycle recruiting
- 3Prior law firm experience strongly preferred
- 4Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices
- 5Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- 6Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- 7High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity
- 8Experience with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
- 9ADP experience is a plus
- 10Onsite, Coral Gables, FL based role with onsite payroll and benefits responsibilities
Salary Insight
$80 - $85k per year
