Overview

Owns the engineering and maintenance operations for data center facilities to ensure 100 uptime and cost effective service delivery at scale. Leads a team of engineers and maintenance staff, coordinating safety, regulatory compliance, and infrastructure upgrades. This role focuses on mission critical systems, preventive and predictive maintenance, and incident response in a 24x7 on call environment.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Build and manage preventive, predictive and reactive maintenance plans for all building systems including electrical, mechanical, plumbing and controls
  • 2Lead safety training and implement remediation of hazards to maintain a safe environment for staff and occupants
  • 3Oversee commissioning and operation of BMS CMMS MOP SOP and change management processes
  • 4Supervise engineers and maintenance staff including hiring training and performance evaluation
  • 5Coordinate capital planning for infrastructure upgrades equipment replacements and building modifications
  • 6Ensure regulatory compliance with NFPA codes building drawings and single lines and maintain documentation
  • 7Oversee contractors and daily rounds record keeping and incident notification
  • 8Maintain and monitor advanced infrastructure documentation and engineering logs
  • 9Ensure 24x7 on call support for critical facilities and incident response
  • 10Assist in budgeting and financial tracking for maintenance programs

Requirements8

  • 1High School diploma or GED
  • 25+ years of related technical work experience including supervisory experience
  • 3Experience in Mission Critical Data Center environments with knowledge of BMS CMMS MOP SOP
  • 4Understanding of essential electrical power systems and NFPA codes
  • 5Knowledge of building systems maintenance including mechanical electrical HVAC plumbing carpentry
  • 6Strong computer skills including Word and Excel
  • 7Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • 8Proven customer service orientation and ability to work with IT change control and Corrigo work order system
