Sr Associate Revenue Recognition - Integrity Marketing Group
Overview
The Sr Associate Revenue Recognition will own revenue recognition processes at a large-scale organization. This role will lead the preparation of monthly journal entries and MD&A while collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has 2-5 years of accounting experience and a CPA designation. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape financial reporting practices within a growing insurtech company.
What You'll Do11
- 1Build automated ETL pipelines using Spark and Airflow to streamline revenue data processing
- 2Design scalable solutions for cost of revenue accounting and analysis
- 3Lead month-end close activities and coordinate balance sheet roll forwards
- 4Drive improvements in internal controls and process efficiency
- 5Partner with Sales Operations and IT to integrate accounting policies with business strategies
- 6Utilize analytics to detect data anomalies and variance trends
- 7Collaborate on forecasting initiatives and management reporting
- 8Prepare financial statement disclosures and SOX compliance documentation
- 9Work with external auditors during revenue recognition audits
- 10Analyze contract assets and long-term value assessments
- 11Ensure adherence to ICFR standards for revenue accounting
Requirements11
- 12-5 years of accounting experience with public company background preferred
- 2Bachelor’s degree in accounting finance or related field with CPA designation
- 3Strong knowledge of ASC 606 standards and revenue recognition principles
- 4Proficiency with NetSuite SAP Oracle and similar ERP systems
- 5Experience with internal controls risk assessment and mitigation
- 6Ability to deliver results-oriented outcomes in a fast-paced environment
- 7Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- 8Demonstrated ability to drive process changes and implement improvements
- 9Familiarity with cloud-based accounting platforms
