CaptivateIQ seeks a senior individual contributor to lead financial reporting architecture for its Accounting & Reporting practice. The role transforms ASC 340 ASC 606 and IFRS 15 compliance into automated scalable solutions while driving cross‑functional collaboration. This architect will define best‑practice frameworks and mentor teammates to elevate delivery excellence.
What You'll Do7
- 1Design and architect financial reporting and compliance solutions for complex sales‑compensation environments ensuring data accuracy and audit readiness
- 2Own end‑to‑end reporting model quality and performance maintaining long‑term hygiene across customer implementations
- 3Serve as senior accounting escalation point guiding consultants on compliant design decisions and complex reporting challenges
- 4Develop and maintain best‑practice frameworks for commission capitalization and amortization under ASC 340 ASC 606 and IFRS 15
- 5Translate unique customer requirements into repeatable efficient reporting configurations and dashboards
- 6Partner cross‑functionally with Engineering Product and Customer Success to influence data‑output standards and compliance‑ready product enhancements
- 7Elevate the team by contributing templates documentation and mentorship that raise delivery excellence standards
Requirements11
- 17+ years experience in financial modeling data integrity or reporting within sales compensation ERP or financial‑systems environments
- 2Accounting or finance background with degree MBA CPA or equivalent applied experience and solid grasp of ASC 606 and related standards
- 3CPA or formal accounting background educational or professional certification preferred
- 4Proven experience implementing or designing financial reporting systems or compensation‑related data models
- 5Advanced Excel or Sheets skills for large‑dataset modeling SQL or scripting familiarity preferred
- 6Demonstrated customer‑facing consulting or implementation experience across discovery design and delivery phases
- 7Highly analytical detail‑oriented independent operation comfort in fast‑paced client‑facing environment
- 8Nice to have experience with CaptivateIQ Xactly Varicent SAP Commissions or Anaplan
- 9Familiarity with Salesforce NetSuite Zuora or other ERP/CRM systems
- 10Exposure to SQL Python for financial data analysis or automation
- 11Background in FP&A revenue operations or audit compliance
