What You'll Do28
- 1Maintain accurate recurring billing records for new and existing clients
- 2Verify contract pricing billing schedules and payment terms are correctly entered into company systems
- 3Perform regular audits of billing records to ensure accuracy
- 4Review subscriptions and invoices to identify discrepancies before they become issues
- 5Support ongoing improvements to billing processes and documentation
- 6Review daily payment activity and investigate failed transactions
- 7Track payment retries and recovery efforts
- 8Coordinate communication regarding expired payment methods and failed ACH transactions
- 9Escalate recurring payment concerns when appropriate
- 10Manage annual contract pricing schedules and renewals
- 11Implement approved pricing adjustments in billing systems
- 12Verify invoices accurately reflect updated pricing
- 13Maintain organized expense records and reporting
- 14Review spending to identify opportunities for cost savings
- 15Proactively contact vendors to negotiate improved pricing contract renewals discounts or bundled services
- 16Research alternative vendors and obtain competitive quotes when appropriate
- 17Present cost-saving recommendations to leadership
- 18Track savings achieved through vendor negotiations and operational improvements
- 19Prepare recurring reports related to revenue billing accuracy and operational performance
- 20Compare expected revenue against collected revenue and investigate variances
- 21Assist with reconciliations alongside the company's bookkeeping partner
- 22Monitor operational expenses and identify unusual spending trends
- 23Provide accurate reporting to support business decisions
- 24Partner with the COO and Office Manager on operational initiatives
- 25Coordinate with external finance partners regarding billing and reconciliation questions
- 26Support AI and automation initiatives that improve operational efficiency
- 27Document and improve internal processes as the company continues to grow
- 28Assist with special projects and cross-functional operational initiatives

- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
