Overview
Speech-Language Pathologists at Avir at White Rock own the evaluation and development of speech therapy treatment programs for residents and families. What You'll Do6
- 1Conduct initial evaluations of residents' speech, language, and swallowing abilities within the first 30 days
- 2Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- 3Document patient progress and adjust therapy approaches using evidence-based practices
- 4Train family members and caregivers on communication strategies and home exercises
- 5Coordinate with referral sources and healthcare providers to optimize patient care
- 6Participate in facility meetings and contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture
Requirements5
- 1Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- 2Current state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas
- 3Excellent communication skills for collaboration with families and staff
- 4Ability to build rapport with residents and their families
