Overview
We seek a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist for a flexible PRN role in Franklin, MA offering up to $52 per hour. This position supports patient outcomes through individualized therapy and interdisciplinary collaboration.
What You'll Do11
- 1Evaluate patients’ speech language cognitive-communication and swallowing abilities
- 2Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with patient goals
- 3Provide speech language cognitive and swallowing therapy per treatment protocols
- 4Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed
- 5Conduct dysphagia assessments and implement swallowing strategies
- 6Educate patients families and caregivers on communication and safety techniques
- 7Document evaluations sessions and patient responses accurately
- 8Communicate updates to physicians nurses and rehabilitation staff
- 9Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary meetings
- 10Promote patient safety dignity independence and quality of life
- 11Maintain compliance with regulations and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements10
- 1Current Massachusetts SLP license
- 2Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- 3Certificate of Clinical Competence ASHA preferred
- 4CPR/BLS certification as applicable
- 5Experience in skilled nursing long-term care or rehabilitation settings
- 6Strong knowledge of speech language cognitive and swallowing disorders
- 7Excellent clinical communication and interpersonal skills
- 8Compassionate patient-centered approach
- 9Strong organizational and time management abilities
- 10Ability to work within interdisciplinary healthcare teams
