Overview
Speech Language Pathologist role focused on pediatric evaluation and therapy across homes, clinics, and community settings. Lead collaborative efforts with families, healthcare teams, and supervisors to support children birth to 21 in achieving communication goals. What You'll Do5
- 1Build and deliver pediatric therapy services and/or evaluations for children birth to 21 in natural settings
- 2Educate families on intervention strategies to foster carryover and active involvement
- 3Work across diverse settings including client homes, daycare centers, preschools, clinics, and community spaces
- 4Follow individualized therapy plans, plan ongoing treatment, and document progress toward goals
- 5Prepare timely progress reports and maintain confidential child records in accordance with HIPAA and regulations
Requirements5
- 1Must have NYS Licensed Speech Language Pathologist credentials and a passion for working with children and families
- 2Self-motivated team player with patience and professionalism
- 3Fluency in a language other than English is a plus
- 4Willingness and ability to travel to assigned cases using personal vehicle or other transportation
- 5Ability to sit on the floor, kneel, crawl, and lift up to 10 pounds as part of caregiving duties
Salary Insight
$137 - $250k per year
