Speech Language Pathologist, Pediatric Therapy & Community Settings
Overview
As a Speech Language Pathologist you will own pediatric therapy and evaluations across homes, schools, and clinic settings for children birth to 21 within the NYC metro. Work with a collaborative team of clinicians and supervisors delivering high quality services and compassionate care. This role offers flexible scheduling, training on our data system, and opportunities across diverse settings and regions.
What You'll Do5
- 1Provide pediatric therapy services and/or evaluations to children birth 21 in natural settings
- 2Educate families and caregivers on intervention strategies to facilitate carryover
- 3Work in diverse settings: client homes daycare centers preschools clinics and community locations
- 4Follow individualized therapy plans and plan ongoing treatment while documenting progress
- 5Prepare progress reports and maintain confidential child records in accordance with HIPAA and regulations
Requirements6
- 1Must be NYS Licensed Speech Language Pathologist
- 2Must be passionate about working with children and families
- 3Self-motivated team player who demonstrates patience and professionalism
- 4Fluency in a language other than English is a plus
- 5Must be able to travel to assigned cases including driving personal vehicle walking and public transportation
- 6Ability to ascend and descend stairs lift up to 10 pounds sit on the floor kneel or crawl for extended periods
Salary Insight
$137 - $395k per year
