What You'll Do9
- 1Provide pediatric therapy services and conduct evaluations for children up to 21 years old in natural environments
- 2Educate families on evidence-based interventions to promote active participation and skill development
- 3Deliver therapy sessions in varied locations including homes daycare centers preschools clinics and community spaces
- 4Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with family goals and document progress systematically
- 5Prepare comprehensive progress reports and maintain strict confidentiality following HIPAA regulations
- 6Collaborate with clinical supervisors and administrative staff to ensure adherence to ethical standards
- 7Adapt therapeutic approaches to meet unique needs of each child and family
- 8Utilize advanced software tools for efficient record management and communication
- 9Participate in ongoing training and professional development initiatives
Requirements8
- 15+ years experience in speech language pathology with a focus on pediatric populations
- 2Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology and passing score on the Praxis exam
- 3Strong communication skills with demonstrated patience and professionalism
- 4Fluency in another language is considered an advantage
- 5Ability to travel independently using various transportation methods
- 6Physical stamina to navigate stairs and perform tasks requiring lifting
- 7Capacity to remain seated kneeling or crawling for extended periods
- 8Commitment to continuous learning and adaptability in therapeutic practices
Salary Insight
$58 - $65k per year
