What You'll Do9
- 1Lead implementation of Lean principles across Wilmington site partnering with manufacturing engineering and program teams
- 2Conduct value stream mapping to identify waste and prioritize improvement opportunities
- 3Plan and facilitate Kaizen events ensuring sustainment through visual management and KPIs
- 4Provide Lean coaching and mentoring while establishing standard work across operational areas
- 5Apply root cause analysis and PDCA cycles to solve complex problems
- 6Manage CI projects end-to-end supporting Space sector operational excellence roadmap
- 7Identify cost reduction opportunities through process optimization and waste elimination
- 8Partner with leadership on change management to ensure adoption and long-term sustainability
- 9Develop and implement training programs to build continuous improvement capability
Requirements10
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 25+ years experience in Lean Continuous Improvement or Operational Excellence
- 3Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with 4+ years relevant experience
- 4US security clearance required for this role
- 5Ability to travel 10-20% for cross-site CI initiatives and kaizen events
- 6Lean certification or Six Sigma Green Belt and/or Black Belt preferred
- 7Industrial Engineering or Process Engineering background
- 8Strong data-driven mindset with hands-on technical skills
- 9Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
