Sourcing Manager Early Warning Services
Overview
This role owns strategic sourcing initiatives for goods and services ensuring internal requirements are met efficiently. Responsibilities include initiating vendor negotiations maximizing cost efficiencies and maintaining strong departmental relationships. What You'll Do11
- 1Initiates and leads sourcing activities to identify select and contract with top vendor partners
- 2Execute purchases following Early Warning policies covering high-value and complex acquisitions
- 3Negotiate and finalize vendor contracts to align with organizational product and service needs
- 4Evaluate market conditions and recommend alternate sources for technology products
- 5Utilize Strategic Sourcing processes to optimize spend and reduce costs
- 6Develop recommendations for addressing vendor performance issues
- 7Maintain confidential professional relationships across all company levels
- 8Represent the company professionally upholding integrity and confidentiality
- 9Stay updated on procurement trends technology and applicable laws including the Uniform Commercial Code
- 10Support protection of systems and data integrity
- 11Drive continuous improvement in procurement methods and practices
Requirements12
- 1Bachelor’s degree in business procurement or related field
- 2Minimum 8 years progressive procurement experience
- 3Strong negotiation skills and effective written verbal communication
- 4Expertise in evaluating contractual language pricing master agreements vendor services agreements statements of work subscriptions licensing agreements
- 5Proven ability to analyze business needs for expense service quality improvements
- 6Effective organizational project planning and collaboration skills
- 7Knowledge of procurement laws regulations
- 8Proficiency in drafting and analyzing RFPs RFQs RFIs
- 9Background and drug screening completed
- 10Physical ability to lift 10 pounds occasionally and perform sedentary work with occasional standing walking kneeling reaching
- 11Visual acuity dexterity for document preparation and computer use
- 12Ability to communicate with internal external customers

$104 - $130k per year
