Sourcing Manager, Supply Chain & Global Vendor Strategy
Overview
A Sourcing Manager will own strategic sourcing across assigned categories, partnering with internal teams to bring new products to life and drive profitability at scale. You will craft supplier strategies, optimize supplier matrices, and lead negotiations with global suppliers. This role is embedded in a values-based culture with cross-functional collaboration, focusing on reducing cost, improving quality, and mitigating supply chain risk.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and manage overall spend across commodity categories to drive profitability and operational excellence
- 2Design and implement supplier strategies, including spend analyses, consolidation, and risk management
- 3Lead VA/VE based cost reduction programs to simplify supply chain and lower total cost of ownership
- 4Negotiate complex supplier agreements with focus on quality, delivery, pricing, terms, and IP protection
- 5Develop category sourcing plans, run RFIs/RFQs, evaluate bids, and award contracts while tracking supplier performance
- 6Manage supplier contract database and related legal documents ensuring compliance
- 7Collaborate with Engineering, Project Management and Quality to align design with strategic sourcing goals
- 8Support new product launches with supplier selection, quotes, and cross-functional collaboration
- 9Establish and nurture relationships with key suppliers and advocate for the supplier voice in the organization
- 10Coach and develop team members to grow capabilities and leadership potential
Requirements8
- 1Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, supply chain or engineering preferred
- 2Five+ years of increasing responsibilities in manufacturing sourcing or related field
- 3Proven leadership with ability to influence cross-functional partners
- 4Track record of RFP development, sourcing strategy execution, project management and transitions
- 5Strong negotiation and supplier management skills with analytical mindset
- 6Detail oriented strategic thinker with business acumen
- 7Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Advanced Excel; Epicor experience preferred
- 8Willingness to travel as required

$105 - $130k per year
