Solutions Program Manager Portland Oregon
Overview
The Solutions Program Manager will collaborate with the Product Program Manager to deliver a complete product focusing on solution and ecosystem that integrates with hardware for a full product launch. This role defines product solutions and features with Marketing while understanding hardware needs to determine the Minimum Viable Product. The individual drives integration planning and manages delivery through technical and program managers. They also coordinate agile and waterfall schedules to align hardware and solution delivery. Additionally, they prepare and present solution checkpoints while managing risk alongside technical program managers and test teams.
What You'll Do10
- 1Understand experience and solution roadmap to show evolution across printer products and identify hardware requirements and validation plans
- 2Define product solution and features together with marketing teams
- 3Groom new or improve features to understand flows and dependencies
- 4Develop integration plan with design development and test partners meeting program goals
- 5Manage integration delivery with technical and program managers to ensure delivery aligns with program objectives
- 6Work between agile and waterfall schedules to guarantee hardware and solution delivery for product launch
- 7Drive solution checkpoint preparation and presentations followed by strategic follow ups
- 8Perform risk management with technical program manager and test teams
- 9Manage change requests and guide change requestors on the Program Investigation Request
- 10Provide coaching and guidance to team members
Requirements7
- 1Four year or graduate degree in computer science engineering business administration or related discipline
- 2Typically six to ten years of relevant work experience in engineering development project planning software people management or related fields
