Software License Compliance Manager, Fintech | Finastra
Overview
You will own a portfolio of software license compliance matters across U.S. retail lending and financial messaging customers at Finastra, supporting 7,000+ financial institutions in 110+ countries. Partner with Sales and cross-functional teams to assess contractual obligations, build defensible compliance positions, and drive revenue-effective outcomes. In this hybrid role (2 days/week in Sandy Springs/Atlanta), you will manage high-volume matters with analytical rigor and commercial judgment. You will close with direct customer engagement and continuous process improvement in a global fintech leader.
What You'll Do9
- 1Manage a portfolio of software license compliance matters for retail lending and financial messaging customers, prioritizing high-volume cases.
- 2Review customer contracts, order documents, entitlement records, audit findings, usage data, and deployment information to assess compliance positions.
- 3Develop clear, accurate, and defensible compliance assessments supported by contractual analysis and customer data.
- 4Prepare customer-facing reports, findings summaries, and supporting documentation that translate complex licensing issues into concise language.
- 5Partner with Sales on territory planning, account strategy, customer engagement, and compliance resolution activities.
- 6Engage directly with customers to explain compliance findings, respond to licensing questions, and drive resolution discussions.
- 7Track and report compliance activities with accurate forecasting and pipeline visibility.
- 8Collaborate with Legal, Product, and Technical teams to resolve complex licensing questions and drive matters to completion.
- 9Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, reporting enhancements, and scalable compliance processes.
Requirements10
- 13+ years supporting software licensing, software compliance, license audits, contract management, commercial operations, risk advisory, or consulting.
- 2Strong ability to review and interpret commercial contracts, licensing agreements, order forms, and entitlement documentation.
- 3Analytical mindset to compare contractual rights against usage, deployment, or entitlement data and identify compliance gaps.
- 4Proven written communication skills with experience preparing reports, findings, audit summaries, or customer-facing documentation.
- 5Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver quality results in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- 6Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across Sales, Legal, Product, and customer-facing teams.
- 7Commercial awareness and sound judgment when balancing compliance requirements with customer and business considerations.
- 8Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Law, or equivalent experience.
- 9Experience in enterprise software, SaaS, fintech, financial services technology, or regulated environments is preferred.
- 10Background in Big Four consulting, risk advisory, audit, compliance, or software asset management is preferred. JD, CPA, or similar credential is a plus.
