Overview
Own the design and delivery of event driven transactional microservices on AWS at scale. You will build and test Java 17 Spring Boot services that handle millions of decisions per day, with a focus on reliability and performance. What You'll Do5
- 1Build and ship event driven microservices on AWS using Java 17, Spring Boot and managed services
- 2Design scalable data flows with Aurora PostgreSQL, SQS FIFO and EventBridge to handle millions of decisions daily
- 3Develop and unit test components with a strong focus on reliability, observability, and performance
- 4Collaborate with product and platform teams to deliver high quality features on time
- 5Own code quality, documentation, and deployment pipelines to enable smooth production releases
Requirements6
- 1Experience with Java and Spring Boot in production systems
- 2Hands on experience with AWS services such as SQS, EventBridge, MSK, Aurora PostgreSQL
- 3Background building transactional systems and event driven architectures
- 4Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, well tested code in Java 17
- 5Onsite location in Dallas, St Louis, Charlotte, Coppell with full time commitment
- 6Strong debugging, problem solving, and collaboration skills
