Software Developer at Lucid Motors
Overview
We seek a Software Developer to own and extend Lucid's production data integration and analytics platforms. This role involves building and operating Python pipelines, maintaining classification engines, and developing executive dashboards. The position is based in Newark, CA and requires onsite work five days weekly.
What You'll Do11
- 1Design and operate multi-program Python pipelines detecting discrepancies between engineering systems and Jira
- 2Maintain a shared classification engine for data reconciliation across multiple sources
- 3Synchronize Launch Quality Plan stage dates and upsert Engineering Change Request records
- 4Extend a Python rendering library and develop executive-facing dashboard suites
- 5Operate orchestration layers with parallel execution and fail-closed access controls
- 6Develop and release changes to a live Jira global-page application and issue panels
- 7Create interactive front-end components including sortable grids and Gantt charts
- 8Make architectural decisions on data source of truth and system design
- 9Write technical proposals covering problem statements and rollout plans
- 10Perform root-cause analysis of cross-system data discrepancies
- 11Document architecture and maintain deployment runbooks
Requirements11
- 1Production software engineering experience with data integration ownership
- 2Strong Python fundamentals including packaging and testing
- 3Hands-on SQL experience with Redshift or equivalent warehouse tables
- 4Jira REST API expertise including pagination and write semantics
- 5Modern JavaScript proficiency without frameworks for UI development
- 6Proficiency in GitLab with feature branching and CI/CD pipelines
- 7Experience with Atlassian Forge for custom UI development
- 8Understanding of PLM or NPI domain concepts such as BOM and stage gates
- 9Ability to ship to production with dry-run and reversible operations
- 10Demonstrated track record of changing live systems safely
- 11Architectural judgment skills for defining data source of truth

$135 - $185k per year
