Overview
Own the diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of small engines and power equipment at a Phoenix workshop. You’ll work on lawn mowers, chainsaws, generators, hedge trimmers, and more, delivering reliable service with clear communication to customers. What You'll Do8
- 1Diagnose, repair, and maintain small engines and related equipment
- 2Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, spark plug replacement, and cleaning
- 3Inspect and test engines to identify issues and recommend solutions
- 4Order, replace, and install engine parts as necessary
- 5Maintain accurate service records and update work orders
- 6Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental guidelines
- 7Communicate effectively with customers regarding diagnostics, repair options, and estimated timeframes
- 8Stay current with technology and repair techniques by attending training sessions as needed
Requirements9
- 13+ years experience on trucks (gas/diesel) and 2-cycle equipment
- 2Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair trucks and equipment
- 3Experience with tools and equipment such as carburetors, rebuild 2-stroke equipment
- 4Replace straps, tubes, throttle cables
- 5Change oil, transmission fluid, and filters
- 6Install batteries, check electrical systems, and perform general repairs
- 7Basic capability in most minor repairs
- 8Current driver`s license, acceptable MVD record, and ability to obtain DOT Medical card
- 9Reliable, good work habits, and strong safety conscience
