Slitter Operator, Converting & Label Manufacturing
Overview
You will own slitting equipment operation for a high-volume label and packaging production line in Roseville, MN. You will set up slitting equipment, monitor performance, and inspect finished goods to meet customer specs. You will join a converting team that supports laminating, coating, and other web handling processes. This role offers temp-to-hire placement with hands-on training and advancement into machine leadership.
What You'll Do8
- 1Set up and operate slitting equipment for label and packaging production.
- 2Support laminating, coating, and other converting processes as needed.
- 3Load materials and prepare machines for production runs.
- 4Monitor machine performance and adjust settings to maintain product quality.
- 5Inspect finished products to meet customer specifications.
- 6Read work orders and production schedules, then execute accordingly.
- 7Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report maintenance needs.
- 8Complete production documentation and material tracking logs.
Requirements8
- 11+ years experience operating machines in a manufacturing environment.
- 2Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new equipment.
- 3Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- 4Ability to work independently and in a team.
- 5Ability to read and follow work instructions.
- 6Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- 7Preferred: experience on slitting, laminating, coating, or web handling equipment.
