What You'll Do7

  • 1Read and interpret blueprints and work orders to determine assembly sequences and specifications.
  • 2Prepare materials by cutting, trimming, or cleaning surfaces before bonding.
  • 3Apply adhesives or bonding agents to components and align them per engineering tolerances.
  • 4Operate power tools and hand tools to secure and laminate metal and composite parts.
  • 5Inspect finished assemblies for defects, dimensional accuracy, and surface quality.
  • 6Maintain a clean and organized work area in the laminating section.
  • 7Follow work instructions and safety protocols to meet production quotas.

Requirements6

  • 11+ years of assembly or lamination experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • 2Proof of proficiency reading a tape measure.
  • 3Ability to stand for 8-hour shifts and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • 4Strong communication skills and a documented reliable work history.
  • 5Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions accurately.
  • 6Comfort working with adhesives, composite materials, and bonding agents.
