Your work spans 12-hour shifts at a high-volume folding carton plant in Bolingbrook, IL, where you will run sheeting equipment at production speeds. You'll coordinate with forklift operators, material handlers, and maintenance to keep the line moving. • 3Coordinate with material handlers and forklift operators to keep roll stock flowing and finished sheets stacked.
  • 4Inspect sheets for tears, edge damage, contamination, skew, and scuffs, making adjustments to hold quality.
  • 5Troubleshoot routine jams and mis-feeds, then report mechanical issues to maintenance.
  • 6Perform operator-level preventive maintenance: clean, lubricate, and inspect the machine.
  • 7Hand off shift status and machine updates to the next crew, logging production data accurately.
  • 8Follow SQF, GMP, PPE, and Lockout/Tagout procedures every shift.
  • 9Drive continuous improvement by flagging waste and suggesting line tweaks to the supervisor.
