Site Surveyor, Solar Installations & Field Data Collection
Overview
Owns on-site data gathering and site assessment for residential solar projects at scale. Collaborates with installation teams to capture roof and site metrics, photos, and shading data to inform system design. Travels to customer locations to perform measurements and document conditions, contributing to project readiness.
What You'll Do5
- 1Build site assessment records by measuring roof planes, vents, dormers, and chimneys and capturing attic conditions
- 2Design and document roof and site layouts including photos and shading measurements and upload to cloud storage
- 3Drive data accuracy by capturing shade readings and roof dimensions and ensuring documentation is complete
- 4Ship site documentation using company software and coordinate with installation teams for smooth handoffs
- 5Assist with warehouse tasks and day-to-day field operations as needed
Requirements5
- 1Minimum 1-2 years of solar or construction experience
- 2High School diploma or equivalent required
- 3Valid state driver’s license
- 4Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work at height on roofs and ladders
- 5Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills and ability to work in a team environment
