Overview

Site and Property Inspector will lead on-site inspections of ground leases for MHPI residential projects on US military installations across the US. You will review plans, assess code conformance, and deliver written reports with findings and recommendations. Join a cross-functional team supporting policy directives and decision-making for public property utilization. This role offers exposure to multi-family and single-family construction in a regulated, mission-driven environment.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Build on-site inspection programs to verify land and improvements align with ground lease terms
  • 2Lead third-party QA/QC for single- and multi-family construction and renovations
  • 3Walk property lines and verify easements and lease areas against survey data
  • 4Serve as desk and on-site QA/QC expert for excavation and vertical construction in SFR and MF projects
  • 5Review interim and final plans and specifications across excavation, structure, MEP, finishes with licensed architects
  • 6Analyze all phases of wood frame construction and generate timely written reports with exhibits and actionable recommendations
  • 7Contribute to comprehensive construction and development reviews including scope conformance, bidding, job costing, and QA
  • 8Collaborate with teams to ensure adherence to local, national and international building codes
  • 9Support policy and decision-making materials for the Client and Congressional processes
  • 10Travel to project sites as required to conduct inspections and gather evidence

Requirements10

  • 1US Citizenship required to obtain Public Trust
  • 2Experience reading and interpreting surveys including improvements, easements and encroachments
  • 3Experience with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Yardi, Matrix) and Microsoft Office
  • 4Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision
  • 5Willingness to travel
  • 6Strong organizational skills and ability to adapt in dynamic environments
  • 7Ability to learn quickly with minimal guidance and work with diverse personalities
  • 8Analytical mindset with strong critical thinking and extreme attention to detail
  • 9Undergraduate degree in construction management, architecture, building processes, or civil engineering or an Associate's degree in surveying with two years of licensed surveying experience
  • 10Legal ability to work in the US and provide quality construction QA documentation
