QA Site Manager, Civil & Concrete Construction & Quality Assurance
Overview
The role owns on site field leadership for civil, industrial, petrochemical, and concrete construction projects at scale. You will provide real time technical guidance, quality oversight, and drive safe, efficient work on site. You will review plans and specs, maintain quality control checks, coordinate field activities, and educate crews on proper installation methods. This position places you at the intersection of field leadership, quality assurance, and project execution, with a focus on delivering defect free workmanship.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and implement real time QA oversight on site across multiple projects and communicate deficiencies in safety, quality, schedule, and execution
- 2Review project documents including plans, specs, RFIs, and submittals and train crews on proper installations
- 3Develop and execute crew work plans and ensure daily reports, hour tracking, safety documentation, and equipment inspections are completed
- 4Manage safe equipment operation, site work installation, and concrete operations from forming through post pour review
- 5Complete quality documentation and verify work aligns with plans, specs, and tolerances using company technology
- 6Monitor progress, productivity, materials, equipment, and costs and coordinate material flow and issue escalation
- 7Develop and enforce Quality/Inspection Plans and track deficiencies and corrective actions from preconstruction through closeout
- 8Maintain comprehensive quality and safety documentation and ensure timely closeout of open items
- 9Interface with leadership to communicate project status and risks and implement process improvements
- 10Provide guidance to crews to improve install procedures and reduce rework
Requirements8
- 115 years of work experience in roles such as Quality Assurance Specialist, Site Manager, Superintendent, Foreman, or Concrete Superintendent
- 2Class B CDL
- 3Extensive knowledge of concrete construction including forming, rebar, anchor bolts, embedded items, walls, footings, mass foundations, elevated decks with shoring, placing, finishing, curing, and quality inspection
- 4Strong knowledge of sitework, grading, underground utilities, pipe installation, structures, civil construction sequencing, and site safety
- 5Proficiency with transit levels, builder's levels, grade lasers, and field layout fundamentals
- 6DOT style plans specifications drawings addenda schedules and action plans literacy
- 7GPS and total station experience beneficial
- 8Ability to read and interpret civil and structural drawings and technical documents
