What You'll Do10
- 1Develop and implement project-specific QA/QC plans, procedures, and inspection protocols for electrical installations.
- 2Audit sites to verify installations match approved drawings, specs, and NEC codes.
- 3Identify deficiencies, document non-conforming work, and coordinate corrective actions with project and field leadership.
- 4Manage QA/QC documentation: inspection reports, checklists, testing records, and deficiency logs.
- 5Evaluate shop drawings, material test reports, and equipment documentation for compliance.
- 6Track delivered equipment against approved submittals to prevent installation errors.
- 7Coordinate testing and inspections, including pre-test walk-downs and system verification.
- 8Collaborate with GCs, PMs, superintendents, and commissioning teams to resolve quality issues.
- 9Drive punch list and deficiency resolution to closure before turnover.
- 10Support project closeout by ensuring complete quality packages and records.
Requirements10
- 15+ years in electrical construction QA/QC, with exposure to commercial, industrial, or mission critical projects.
- 23-5 years in a leadership role like QA/QC Manager, Quality Manager, or Electrical Superintendent.
- 3Deep knowledge of NEC and electrical installation standards.
- 42+ years developing and managing project-specific QA/QC programs.
- 5Proven skill in reading electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, and submittals.
- 6Experience with construction management software like Procore preferred.
- 7Microsoft Office proficiency for documentation and reporting.
- 8Strong communication to lead meetings and train field teams.
- 9Ability to travel and work nights or weekends as project demands.
- 10Valid driver's license.
