QAQC Manager, Semiconductor & High-Tech Construction
Overview
Own quality assurance and control for complex construction and engineering projects in semiconductor and high-tech facilities. Lead QA/QC plans, inspections, and documentation across sites from kick-off to turnover. Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to uphold codes, standards, and customer requirements. This role blends field oversight with documentation management to ensure consistent, auditable quality outcomes.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and implement project QA/QC plans and ITPs to meet client requirements
- 2Lead inspections and testing of materials, equipment, and installations to verify conformance
- 3Own NCRs and corrective actions including root-cause analysis and preventive measures
- 4Coordinate subcontractor and vendor quality performance and project-wide quality activities
- 5Drive quality meetings, client discussions, and project turnover with thorough documentation
- 6Scale quality processes across multiple sites and ensure adherence to drawings and specifications
- 7Mentor project personnel on QA/QC procedures and promote a strong quality culture
- 8Maintain accurate quality documentation and turnover packages for project closeout
- 9Monitor continuous improvement opportunities to enhance overall project quality
- 10Ensure compliance with codes and standards such as ASME, AWS, NFPA, NEC
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor`s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quality Management, or related field or equivalent experience
- 25+ years of QA/QC experience in construction, engineering, industrial, or manufacturing projects
- 3Strong knowledge of QA/QC processes and ability to read drawings, specifications, and standards
- 4Experience developing QA/QC plans, ITPs, NCRs, corrective actions, and turnover documentation
- 5Ability to work with subcontractors, vendors, project teams, and client representatives
- 6Experience with Microsoft Office and construction/project documentation systems
- 7Preferred: experience in semiconductor, cleanroom, MEP, or high-tech construction projects
- 8Knowledge of codes and standards such as ASME, AWS, NFPA, NEC, ASTM
- 9Quality certifications such as ASQ, CQM, AWS, ICC are a plus
- 10Strong problem-solving, organization, and communication skills
