What You'll Do10

  • 1Build and manage daily simulation lab operations to ensure all modules and open lab sessions are instruction-ready
  • 2Maintain inventory and procurement, process purchase orders, reconcile items, and produce bi-annual inventory reports
  • 3Order stage and distribute course materials with lead simulation faculty for modules, competency, and board exam activities
  • 4Maintain equipment readiness, perform routine checks, and coordinate maintenance or repairs
  • 5Support exams and assessments in ExamSoft, proctoring, troubleshooting, and secure testing environments
  • 6Monitor and reconcile student assessment data and submit final grades to the curriculum office
  • 7Organize storage and distribution for dental materials and instruments to ensure efficient workflow and regulatory readiness
  • 8Collaborate with simulation faculty and clinical leadership to support remediation and board exam readiness
  • 9Contribute to continuous improvement of preclinical operations and simulation technology readiness
  • 10Ensure compliance with HIPAA/FERPA and CODA standards in preclinical education

Requirements10

  • 1High school diploma or equivalent with one-year technical training
  • 2DANB certification or state dental assisting certification preferred
  • 3Experience in a dental school or academic health sciences environment
  • 4Working knowledge of dental instruments, materials, and preclinical procedures
  • 5Familiarity with axiUm Canvas or similar academic systems
  • 6Knowledge of CODA standards related to preclinical education
  • 7Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • 8Dental assisting certification or dental laboratory background
  • 9Strong operational coordination and attention to detail
  • 10Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
