What You'll Do10

  • 1Build and maintain organized operatories and supply levels to support daily procedures
  • 2Design and execute clinic department close tasks including instrument transport and equipment shutdowns
  • 3Lead instrument transport to sterilization and verify N2O safety and DUWL status
  • 4Ship biopsies processing for Oral/Perio surgery and document outcomes
  • 5Drive participation in staff and student meetings and provide supply usage feedback for cost savings
  • 6Own continuous education participation and CPR certification maintenance
  • 7Manage electronic health records usage and ensure HIPAA compliance
  • 8Coordinate with faculty and residents to support teaching and patient flow
  • 9Collaborate with the team to uphold OSHA standards and infection control practices
  • 10Scale clinic operations during peak times while maintaining high quality patient care

Requirements7

  • 1Must be CPR and X-Ray certified
  • 22-3 years of dental assisting experience, CDA preferred
  • 3At least 1 year of electronic health records (EHR) software experience
  • 4Knowledge of OSHA standards, aseptic procedures, HIPAA regulations, sterilization, infection control
  • 5Professional appearance and strong communication, facilitation, and organizational skills
  • 6Must be flexible and able to change assignments with little direction
  • 7Must work well independently and in a group environment
