Shuttle Driver, CDL with P Endorsement – College Campus Routes
Overview
CDL with P Endorsement required to operate shuttle buses for off campus housing servicing college campuses in Tampa FL. Drive evening hours Monday through Friday during Fall and Spring semesters and daytime hours Monday through Friday in Summer. Role involves safe, reliable, cost-effective transportation and strong customer service as part of a responsible transportation program.
What You'll Do6
- 1Build pre/post trip inspections using electronic inspection software to ensure safe operation
- 2Drive shuttle route and transport qualified passengers to established stops on a recurring loop
- 3Attend safety meetings to reinforce compliant, safe driving habits
- 4Maintain professional appearance and clean shuttle vehicle for a positive image
- 5Report safety or maintenance concerns to Dispatch promptly and accurately
- 6Fuel shuttle, wash, and perform basic preventative maintenance as needed
Requirements8
- 1CDL license with P endorsement
- 2Current valid Driver Physical Examination
- 33-year MVR with no more than two minor offenses and no DUI or DWI in past 3 years
- 4Successful completion of Criminal Background Check and Pre-Employment Drug Screen
- 5High school diploma or equivalent
- 6Commercial Driving experience: 1 year (preferred)
- 7Ability to work evening hours on weekdays and flexible scheduling
- 8In-person work location in Tampa, FL
