Shuttle Bus Driver, CDL with Passenger Endorsement in Tempe
Overview
Own shuttle routes in Tempe and surrounding areas with passenger transport to and from locations. Work 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with backup driving as needed. Drive safely, refuel, and ensure bus maintenance and cleanliness. Support student transportation operations and ensure compliance with safety standards. This role offers contract on-site work with Green Way Shuttles.
What You'll Do6
- 1Drive passengers to and from locations in a safe, punctual manner
- 2Refuel and perform basic bus maintenance checks to ensure readiness
- 3Maintain clean interior and exterior of shuttle and report issues promptly
- 4Follow safety procedures and traffic laws during all trips
- 5Coordinate pickups and drop-offs for students and families
- 6Communicate with dispatch for schedule adherence and interruptions
Requirements7
- 1Class A, B, or C CDL License with passenger endorsement is required
- 2Experience driving shuttle or passenger transport vehicles is preferred
- 3Ability to work Monday to Friday, 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM with occasional backup driving
- 4Excellent communication and customer service skills
- 5Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and fuel the bus
- 6On-site, contract role in Tempe, AZ
