Short Term Rehab Unit Manager RN - Topsfield, MA
Overview
You will lead the short-term rehabilitation unit at Masconomet Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Topsfield, Massachusetts. You will own daily operations, admissions, and discharge planning, ensuring the highest quality care for patients. What You'll Do7
- 1Oversee daily unit operations, including admissions, family meetings, and discharge planning.
- 2Conduct audits of all new admission charts to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- 3Attend daily facility meetings and weekly Clinical Risk and Medicare meetings.
- 4Serve as the liaison between patients, families, doctors, and other departments.
- 5Investigate incident reports and follow up on corrective actions.
- 6Manage staff assignments and ensure quality care delivery.
- 7Accept on-call hours on weekends and holidays as assigned.
Requirements7
- 1Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a valid Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts.
- 2Valid CPR certification.
- 32+ years of nursing supervisory experience.
- 4Excellent computer and electronic medical record skills.
- 5Ability to identify safety hazards and function effectively in emergencies.
- 6Knowledge of infection control procedures, including hand washing and isolation.
- 7Demonstrated professionalism and adherence to dress code and attendance policies.
