Shipping Specialist I, Warehouse & Logistics
Overview
You will own order accuracy for AWE's performance parts, picking, packing, and staging shipments with 100% accuracy. What You'll Do8
- 1Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment, verifying items against packing lists or work orders.
- 2Package heavy stainless steel exhaust systems to prevent transit damage, using proper materials and techniques.
- 3Stage, organize, and load outbound shipments, palletizing boxes up to 75lbs.
- 4Execute transactions in Epicor MES to track inventory and order status.
- 5Maintain a clean and organized shipping area, following all safety procedures.
- 6Communicate discrepancies or issues to the Shipping Supervisor in real time.
- 7Contribute to accuracy improvement and labor reduction initiatives within the first 90 days.
- 8Support other warehouse tasks as needed, including cycle counts and receiving.
Requirements9
- 1High school diploma or GED required.
- 2No prior shipping experience required; training provided.
- 31-2 years of warehouse, manufacturing, or shipping experience (helpful but not required).
- 4Familiarity with scanners, packing equipment, or shipping software such as Epicor MES.
- 5Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- 6Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and schedules.
- 7Strong attention to detail and organization, with basic math and counting accuracy.
- 8Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- 9Ability to lift, carry, or move items up to 75 pounds and perform repetitive tasks.
