Shipping & Receiving Clerk, manufacturing logistics & ERP focus
Overview
Own material flow and inventory control in a 60,000 sq ft Naperville facility with cross functional impact. You will manage order creation, stock levels, and supplier coordination to support on time delivery. Work closely with Engineering, Purchasing, and Shipping & Receiving teams in a ISO aligned environment. This role offers hands on exposure to prototyping and production planning.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and release project type orders, monitor stock levels, and trigger replenishment in ERP to keep production moving
- 2Design and track manual pick-list orders and perform cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
- 3Coordinate with Purchasing on parts availability and lead times to issue replacement POs when needed
- 4Collaborate with Shipping & Receiving to schedule trucks and shipments and enter shipping details
- 5Partner with Engineering on custom engineered orders to ensure timely receipt of correct parts
- 6Act as a resource for the Shipping & Receiving team to resolve material or order issues
- 7Communicate order status, delays or discrepancies with Outside Sales and Accounting
- 8Operate within ISO 9001 quality systems and participate in continuous improvement
- 9Interface daily with Market Manager, Team Service Coordinator, and cross functional team to align priorities
- 10Maintain strong understanding of manufacturing workflows and material flow

- 1Experience with ERP/MRP systems is preferred
- 2High attention to detail and sense of urgency
- 3Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 4Comfortable working cross-functionally and resolving issues independently
- 5Order entry and procurement experience
- 6Shipping & receiving and forklift operation experience
- 7Inventory management and data management
- 8Microsoft Excel proficiency
- 9Invoicing and administrative support experience
- 10Ability to work onsite in Naperville, IL
