Overview
Own the shipping floor for Domtar's Phoenix facility, processing 50+ outbound orders per shift. Coordinate with the production team to maintain accurate inventory and hit customer deadlines. What You'll Do10
- 1Keep work orders current on the pick slip and in the ERP system to prevent shipping delays.
- 2Run the order report each shift to verify all orders printed and ship on time.
- 3Update pick slips and system records to reflect completed tasks.
- 4Schedule LTL and truckload shipments to meet customer delivery windows.
- 5Perform cycle counts and adjust inventory records to keep counts accurate.
- 6Troubleshoot transfer discrepancies to maintain stock integrity.
- 7Review raw material arrival schedules to align with production needs.
- 8Load and unload UPS, FedEx, and small packages, distributing items correctly.
- 9Keep the shipping area clean and organized, following all safety protocols.
- 10Support the team by cross-training and assisting with other duties as needed.
Requirements10
- 1High School Diploma or GED.
- 21+ year forklift experience or certification in a manufacturing environment.
- 3Intermediate computer skills, including Excel and ERP systems.
- 4Math skills to calculate percentages and verify counts.
- 5Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand on concrete for extended periods.
- 6Read and comprehend simple instructions in English.
- 7Work extended hours including overtime when required.
- 8Handle multiple tasks with varying deadlines under pressure.
- 9Maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
- 10Communicate clearly with all levels of management, including leading production meetings.
