Shipper I - Distribution Specialist

Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Operations Specialist responsible for preparing outgoing shipments and coordinating with the Customer Service team to ensure all shipping documents are completed accurately and promptly.

Supports Shipping Department to ensure timely shipments. Basic understanding of warehouse procedures and layout. Packages/assembles items for shipment or pickup. Loads and unloads vehicles efficiently. Verifies load accuracy and labels parts. Handles inbound material and inventory for manufacturing. Operates forklift safely. Conducts cycle counting and coordinates freight with carriers. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Teams.

You own dock operations and shipment scheduling in a high-volume manufacturing yard. You coordinate loading, scanning, and inventory control to keep outbound freight on time. You work with PIV forklifts, RF-Scanners, and Mi-Jack Cranes to move finished goods safely. This role demands precision under tight deadlines and a commitment to 5S standards. You will cross-train across shipping functions and step up during mandatory overtime and weekends.

We seek a motivated clerk to own shipping operations and deliver exceptional customer service in Des Plaines. You will process outbound shipments coordinate carrier pickups maintain accurate records respond professionally to inquiries resolve discrepancies collaborate with teams and thrive in fast-paced environment. The position requires maintaining shipping materials inventory and operating flatbed trucks. Responsibilities include routing items, loading systems, planning shipments, and performing light maintenance. The ideal candidate maintains a clean workspace and adheres to safety regulations.

You will own loading and unloading in a 3PL warehouse handling chemical products under strict safety protocols.
