Shift Leader, Quick Service Restaurant
Overview
You own the shift: drive sales, profit, and guest experience at Burger King. You run a team of Team Members, enforce cash and inventory controls, and uphold brand standards. You report to the Restaurant General Manager and set the pace on the floor. This role builds your leadership skills in a fast-paced QSR environment.
What You'll Do9
- 1Follow cash control and security procedures, including safe counting and cash drawer management.
- 2Conduct daily and weekly inventory inspections and receive inventory truck orders.
- 3Motivate and direct Team Members to deliver accurate, fast, friendly service in clean surroundings.
- 4Provide coaching and feedback to Team Members to boost team capabilities and restaurant performance.
- 5Implement the shift plan and drive operational results by working alongside the team.
- 6Direct efficient product preparation and sale for prompt delivery within speed-of-service guidelines.
- 7Review restaurant results to identify successes and areas for improvement.
- 8Ensure the restaurant meets all operational and brand standards.
- 9Perform Team Member duties when necessary to maintain service.
Requirements6
- 1At least 18 years of age
- 2High school diploma or GED required; 2 years of college preferred
- 31-2 years of previous quick-service restaurant experience
- 4Demonstrated understanding of guest service principles
- 5Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- 6Ability to work long and/or irregular shifts as needed
